The Antioch Food Pantry was established in 1982, to serve the needs of those persons who had to decide whether to feed their families, or pay their rent or utilities. This program feeds hundreds of families per month providing them with, grocery products ranging from fruit and produce, canned goods, meats, and personal care products. This program participates in the USDA Subsidized Feeding Initiative through agency referrals.

The Food Pantry receives funding from various city, federal and private sources which includes an annual grant from the South Central Food Bank.
